Homemade Turkey Chili with Black Beans

Ingredients

  • 20 oz - Ground Turkey
  • 1 Cup - Yellow Onion (chopped) 
  • 1 Cup - Bell Pepper
  • 4 - Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • 1 TBS - Oregano
  • 1 TBS - Granulated Onion
  • 1 TBS - Granulated Garlic
  • 1 TBS - Ground Cumin
  • 4 TBS - Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 2 tsp - Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp - Chicken Base
  • 15 oz - Can of Corn (drained)
  • 15 oz - Can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 12 oz - Mexican Beer 
  • 30 oz - Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 2 TBS - Olive Oil
Directions
  • Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat and brown the ground turkey for 5 minutes.
  • Add onion, garlic and bell pepper and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables begin to sweat.
  • Add all of the remaining ingredients, mix well and bring to a light boil.
  • Reduce heat to med-low, cover and continue to cook for one hour.
  • Serve with shredded cheese, jalapenos and sour cream!
