An excellent recipe. I've made it twice and we really enjoy it. I really enjoy your videos and your questionable sense of (?) humor. Two easy things I did to spike up the flavor: dried mushrooms like shitake or crimini instead of button mushrooms (I used about 1/2 the quantity of fresh and just tossed them in the braising liquid at the start of cooking.) Secondly, I substituted red wine for some of the beef broth. You have a really good no-nonsense Youtube channel - I always look forward to your new videos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Don! Glad you're enjoying it and tweaked it with your own changes! I like the dried mushroom idea!!
