1.5 lbs - 80/20 Ground Beef
1 - Yellow Onion (minced fine)
2 TBS - Chili Powder
2 TBS - Brown Sugar
1 TBS - Granulated Onion
1 TBS - Granulated Garlic
2 tsp - Black Pepper
1 tsp - Cumin
1 tsp - Salt
1 tsp - Oregano
6 oz - Beer
1/4 Cup - Apple Cider Vinegar
14.5 oz - Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
Directions
1. Brown ground beef, drain excess fat if desired.
2. Add onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until they begin to sweat.
3. Add remaining ingredients, stir, bring to a simmer, cover and cook on medium low for 2-3 hours.

Thanks for the recipe Larry. I doubled the recipe to bring to a party. Added a chopped up poblano pepper with the onion but otherwise followed the recipe. Everyone seemed to like it, some even went back for a bowl...no hot dog needed. If I make it for the family I'll spice it up a bit but it was perfect for the crowd. Thanks!
