2 Cups - Yellow Onion (diced)
2 tsp - Texas Pete Hot Sauce
1 tsp - Sugar
1 tsp - Chili Powder
3 TBS - Ketchup
1/4 Cup - Water
3 TBS - Yellow Mustard
4 - All Beef Hot Dogs
2-3 TBS - Vegetable Oil
1. Saute' Onions in 2 TBS oil until they begin to caramelize
2. To the onions add, hot sauce, sugar, chili powder, ketchup, water and simmer for 10 minutes with the lid off until all of the liquid has reduced and the onions have thickened. Set aside.
3. Cut each hot dog into 6-8 pieces at an angle.
4. Top each cracker with one piece of hot dog, caramelized onions and yellow mustard.
NOTE: Make more than you need, they go fast!
