Orange Marmalade Pork

Yum
Spur of the moment dish.....the deck was ice covered so I improvised and I'm glad I did!  I had a family pack of 'Countyry Style' ribs in the freezer and had planned on grilling them.  Due to the weather, I chunked them up and deboned them.

These were 'Loin' cut Country Style ribs......they would have been much better had they been the typical 'shoulder' cut Country Style Ribs.

Browned in my cast iron skillet

Added in a little Sriracha, Orange Marmalade, Wolfe Rub Citrus, Brown Sugar and Honey.

Simmered for a little over an hour.....then added 1 TBS corn starch and 1/4 cup of water to thicken......if you've ever had 'Orange Chicken or Beef' from a chinese restaurant it tasted exactly like it!

Honestly the pictures do not do this dish justice........this is a MUST TRY!

  1. Sriracha and marmalade are taking over the world. Yummm. Have you tried different marmalades? In general, marmalade's one of those ingredients where I don't mind spending a bit extra to avoid all the high fructose corn syrup.
