- 2 lbs - Beef Sirloin Chunks (bite size pieces)
- 1/2 Cup - Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 TBS - Fresh Chopped Ginger
- 1 TBS - Sambal Oelek
- 1 TBS - Fresh Chopped Garlic
- 2 tsp - Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 TBS - Hoisin Sauce
- 2 TBS - Shaoxing Chinese Cooking Wine or Sherry
- 4 - Star Anise (optional)
Directions
- Skewer all of the beef onto skewers.
- Combine remaining ingredients, mix well, add the meat and marinate for 1.5 hours.
- Remove from the refrigerator and let finish marinating on the counter for 30 minutes to come to room temperature.
- Grill over direct heat at 400ยบ for 4 minutes per side (total of 8 minutes for med-rare).
- Serve over rice.
