Pork Burger Recipe
- 1lb - Ground Pork
- 2 Granny Smith Apples (sliced)
- 1 cup - Sauerkraut
- 2 - Yellow Onions (medium diced)
- 1 cup - Swiss Cheese (shredded)
- 1 tsp - Cinnamon
- Hamburger Buns
- Whole Grain Mustard
- Salt and Pepper
Directions
- Form 4 equal patties, season with salt and pepper
- Pan fry 4-5 minutes per side over medium heat
- In a separate saute' pan, heat 1 TBS Olive Oil and slowly caramelize the onions 7-8 minutes
- Remove onions, add 1 TBS. oil, season apples with cinnamon and saute' 4-5 minutes (do not overcook)
- Break down onions, apples and sauerkraut into 4 equal parts, top onions and kraut with Swiss cheese, heat until cheese has melted
- Build burger, add mustard and enjoy
