Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Poppers


Atomic Buffalo Turds w/Shrimp

  • 6 - Large Jalapeno Peppers
  • 12-15 - Small Shrimp  (minced)
  • 8oz - Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp - Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - Granulated Garlic
  • 12 - Thin Sliced Bacon
  • I don't add salt as the bacon provides sufficient taste for me
  • Slice Jalapenos lengthwise and scoop out the seeds & membrane with a spoon.  Set aside
  • Combine cream cheese, shrimp, pepper and garlic until well combined
  • Generously fill each jalapeno half with the shrimp/cream cheese mixture
  • Wrap one whole slice of bacon around each pepper, pulling tightly as you go big end to small end
  • Bake peppers in a 325ยบ oven on a raised rack for 45 minutes or until the bacon is rendered
  • Enjoy with Ranch dressing as a condiment
NOTE:  These are even better grilled indirect with the same temps and time above.
