Orange Chicken Recipe

Orange Chicken Recipe (non fried healthier version)

  • 14oz Jar - Orange Marmalade
  • 1 TBS - Garlic
  • 2 TBS - Oyster Sauce
  • 4-5 - Dried Chili Pepper
  • 1 tsp - Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - Five Spice Powder
  • 1lb - Chicken Breast (cut into bite size pieces) 
  • 1 - Bell Pepper (cut into small chunks)
  • 1 TBS - Cornstarch
Directions
  • Combine first 6 ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to a simmer
  • Add chicken and let simmer on medium low 10-15 minutes
  • Mix 50/50 cornstarch and water, add in and stir until thickened
  • Turn off heat and add bell peppers just to warm through, you want them to still be crunchy
  • Serve over rice and/or with broccoli
